The University of Jaume I is a public university located in Castellón de la Plana in the north of the Valencian Community.

The university was founded in early 1991. On 19 May 1993, the foundation stone of the current campus was laid by the Spanish King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sophia. In October 1996, the first section of the current main campus, Riu Sec, was opened. The opening of the second section took place in 1999. The last central university buildings on the Riu Sec campus were finally erected in 2002.

The University of Poitiers, located in the city of Poitiers, is one of the oldest universities in France with approximately 24,000 students.

The University of Poitiers was founded in 1431 by Pope Eugene IV and King Charles VII of France. At that time, the university consisted of five faculties: theology, martial law, civil law, medicine and art. In the 16th century, it developed into the second most important university in the country next to the University of Paris.

The University of Rouen is a state university in the northern French port city of Rouen with around 24,300 students. The university originated from the Collège de Médecine in 1605, to which several faculties were added over the years until it became a state university after splitting off from the University of Caen in 1966.

Roskilde University is a state educational institution located east of Roskilde in Denmark. It is a member of the University of the Arctic (UArctic) and was founded in 1972.

The university offers Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. degrees, is divided into four institutes and occupies approximately 50 buildings. There are currently about 8400 students at the university.
